Covid19 Face Shield Hole Punch V1.1
thingiverse
I've designed a new version of the face shield for medical professionals that features a three hole punch pattern on its clear shield. This prototype will be put to the test by a local doctor tonight, and we're likely to go into production tomorrow. The support piece is crafted from .25" thick polycarbonate. The laser-cut shield is made from .02" thick PETG, but clear plastic with a 3 hole punch pattern can also be used - think of it like the material found in a 2 liter bottle or projector film. Additional file types and the DXF for the shield are available on Grabcad: https://grabcad.com/library/covid19-face-shield-hole-punch-v1-1-1 The original design is based on the Prusa Project: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/25857-protective-face-shield-rc1#_ga=2.125524866.925504750.1584670323-1236707100.1584648344
