Human: Made key modifications to Tinkercad on this design, posted by Geekdomo: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4281937 Instructions for assembly of the full mask from Geekdomo are found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHSbhi7KawM&t=209s The following changes were made to this design: - Removed square filter cap inside the mask - Expanded hole inside the mask, added hexagonal structure to end of mask, preventing filter from getting sucked in and touching mouth directly (disassembled picture shows previous version) Added more hexagonal holes to the filter cap - Enlarged round buttons that hold the filter cap for a stronger hold and prevent cap from falling off - Added Triglide.stl to improve fitting and tightness STL's are for large sized mask. Medium shrink by 10%, small shrink by 15%, XL increase by 15%. Roughly, grams of filament used for sizes are 59g for the large, 44g for the medium, 38g for the small, and 77g for XL. According to a pilot test of various materials (https://tinyurl.com/reaeocp), a doubled up blue shop towel filters 93% of particles down to 0.3 microns. N95 filters 95% for comparison. Shop towels used for filters are found here: https://tinyurl.com/yayvmf59 To make the filter, cut it to slightly larger than cap size I make no evidence based claims that this mask will protect you 100%. However, I believe it is probably better than a bandana or non-seal surgical mask.
