Covid Isolation Hook (Savegrabber)
thingiverse
I'm really digging the original Savegrabber by Coolioiglesias - it's rad, no question - but I decided to create my own version that fits my personal style. I also wanted a retention ball on the tip for a holster that would be perfect for punching buttons like those on the store keypad. To be honest, I'm not sure if I'll ever use this design, but it was an absolute blast to come up with. Printing it on its spine required only minimal support - a real plus. The holster design is meant to keep the ball at the tip in place, but I need to tweak it some to make it snug and prevent rattling. Still, it's totally functional as is. Considering casting it in brass or copper might be a great idea, as these materials are naturally antimicrobial and would be a much better option than PLA or similar plastics.
