This design offers several key advantages over other faceshields:\r\n1) mount clear plastic using a standard US hole punch with 4.25 inch spacing, perfect for a 3 ring binder\r\n2) This face shield minimizes plastic usage due to strategically placed cutouts, resulting in quicker printing and lower costs.\r\n\r\nTo print the design, I recommend using PETG with a layer height of .35 mm for speed and perimeter setting of 6 for added strength. Printing three pushpins along with one facemask is recommended. Assemble by punching holes through the plastic sheet with a 3 hole punch and secure it to the facemask using pushpins.\r\n\r\nPrinting time on my Prusa Mk2 typically takes around 95 minutes, including the three pushpins.\r\n\r\nThe face shield can be attached using an elastic band or fabric strip. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, I have included a lightweight version that prints in approximately 83 minutes, which is about 20% thinner than the regular design. You may choose to print either the lightweight version or the standard one.\r\n\r\nOn April 7, 2020, stackable versions of the face shield were added, including 2, 4, and 6 high options, allowing for continuous printing throughout the night.
