Covid - Face Shield with Flip Up

An ophthalmologist asked me if my printed visors could be modified so that they could flip up when using a microscope. I assumed that they weren't the only ones needing microscopes or other tools requiring close eyes and a fixed visor, which can be problematic. To avoid taking off the visor entirely, it should have a flip-up system instead. After researching, I found just a couple of models that wouldn't fit my Prusa model, printed by many people. So, I merged two designs - one from the Prusa slim model and another inspired by a Prusa Community member. Since I couldn't find the latter on Thingiverse to give proper credit, here's its link: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/30691-flip-up-hack-of-r3-usa-version. Regular shields and holes fit this model just fine without any changes needed. I printed two visors - one with 0.3 resolution, 10% infill (a mistake left over from previous prints), 45mm/s speed, and no supports; the other had 0.3 resolution, 16% infill, no supports, and a 60mm/s speed. Both were completed successfully without major structural issues. They should be easy to print at higher speeds but I'm unsure about increasing resolution beyond 0.4 as it might blend some sides. I kept parts close together to minimize friction when flipping up the visor and avoid needing supports during printing. The photo shows the one with 10% infill. There may be material blending in the first layer, but that's just a single layer and can be easily cut if needed to free the flip-up system. I hope this helps others as well.
