Easy and simple to print face shield mask for personal protection against COVID-19 and other diseases. Although the whole face shield is cheap and disposable (cost = approximately $3.5 or $3.9 USD) the entire design can easily be broken apart and disinfected for reuse. EU design based on the Prusa Face Shield RC3 design with four holes. NO COMMERCIAL USE !! Please print as many of these shields as you need and distribute them to nurses, paramedics, doctors, etc. around you. You can ask for your production costs back from them but shouldn't sell them for more than $10 each. Personal protection is a basic right for everyone so please help others achieve this! Used materials/face shield: - Prusament PETG: 70-80 grams - PMMA shield (0.5-0.75 mm; 240 mm x 240 mm): one piece - Elastic bands (25 mm wide): 1.4 meters - Energy consumption (Prusa i3 MK3S): 0.65 kilowatt-hours Total printing time/mask: four and a half hours Print settings: 30% infill and 0.3 millimeters per layer (draft) Total assembly time: ten minutes Total price: $3.5 or $3.9 USD per mask The "Face_Shield_Complete_Broezie.3mf" file contains all necessary parts to print one mask. The exported G-code by this file can be found in the "Face_Shield_Complete_Broezie.gcode" file. Note: This design was based on the already existing Prusa Face Shield RC3 design. The design can be copied and adapted if desired but cannot be used for any commercial purposes. Makers are allowed to print the mask and distribute it to doctors, nurses, paramedics, etc. for a minimal amount of money (max. $10) in order to pay back their production costs. This face shield was developed to help protect humans against the spreading of viral infections and other infectious diseases. However, no tests have been performed to verify its effectiveness.
