For updates please see the Changelog Below. This remix builds upon the outstanding work already done by Bochnovic (thing:4259004). Designed to offer emergency protection for medical workers during the current global supply shortage. Doctors and nurses are discovering that all the PPE they wear is causing discomfort on the tops of their ears. This design is intended to sit securely on the head, away from the ears, significantly improving comfort without requiring additional straps or rubber bands. It has been positively evaluated by doctors who praised its comfort and minimal added elements. To create this remix, you will need a sheet of A4 acetate, polycarbonate, or similar material. The type used for covering reports/A4 bindings works perfectly. This remix modifies the original design to allow standard A4 hole punches to be used, adding strength to weak areas and making it easier to slide acetate sheets onto the bracket. The files have also been optimized for printing at 0.28m layer heights. It is not intended to replace any approved mask but rather provide minimal protection. We cannot guarantee its performance, so use it at your own risk.
