COVID-19 Topper (Cane/Walking Hiking Sticks)

This version was suggested by Mrivera61 back in March - things have been a little crazy since then. This one is in 2 parts to minimize supports. You *might* get away without supports or just supports touching build plate. But even with full supports it should be an easy cleanup. Just print top and bottom and glue together. BTW, I found these CURA settings for supports that work like a charm. In addition to the printed topper of your choice you will need a 1” oak dowel which costs about $6 at Home Depot and a 1” rubber leg tip – about $4 for 4 of them. If you want to use for a different size stick – just adjust accordingly. I print at 20% infill and then paint and coat with a 2-part epoxy resin to add the deep gloss and strength. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BM9LHRB Just print the topper, glue to the finished dowel (sand and clear coat)with desired adhesive (I just use some of the 2-part resin I have mixed up for the final topper coat.
