COVID-19 Protection Mask - Remix - PPE
thingiverse
UPDATE: 2020/03/25 11PM - Added a versatile strap option, simply print the strap in TPU and use the tightener, or 3 to secure the strap like goggles. Alternatively, you can tighten it anyway you prefer. I have not tested this new strap. To effectively seal the mask to your face, utilize a sealer of some sort. I experimented with weather stripping for windows, which works incredibly well. Soft TPU or rubber should also be suitable alternatives. For optimal filtration, use surgical masks cutouts, makeup cotton circles, or other materials that help capture small particles. Refer to NanoHack information on filters for more details. DIMENSIONS: The 1:1 printed dimension from inside the mask's chin to inside the mask's nose is 100mm. I believe the original design was intended for a smaller female figure, so adjust all parts accordingly to scale. This design is a remix of NanoHack and https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/masque-de-protection-covid-19-epi-equipement-individuel-de-secours. I reoriented it for easier printing with supports and created a double filter version. The double filter version requires a second backward threaded tapa.stl printed. I also added TPU straps that go around the ear, and I'm currently working on the strap tightening mechanism.
