Hello everyone! I just can't stay away from this global issue anymore. I'm presenting you with my design for a protective mask featuring replaceable filters and valves for breathing in and out. The mask consists of 19 parts. You'll find the mask itself, available in large and small sizes, along with separate valves. Every part of the valve is duplicated and interchangeable. I highly recommend printing the flexible mask using plastic, specifically PLA, and using a soft material like cotton balls where the mask touches your face. Here's the list of files needed to print masks along with suggested materials: (1) cov-mask-03-big - large face mask (flexible) (1) cov-mask-03-sm - small face mask (flexible) (2) filter01-dust - external filter cap (PLA) (3) flap01 - threaded portion of the valve (PLA) (4) gasket - gasket (flexible). You can use a water pipe of suitable size. (5) membrane-1mm - flexible element of the membrane, 1 mm thick. If you're unable to configure your printer to print thin flexible elements, use this one (flex). (5) membrane-05mm - flexible element of the membrane, 0.5 mm thick (flexible, PLA) (6) membrane-holder - This part requires a thin elastic band, like the ones found on underwear. (7) screw02 - nut for clamping the valve inside the mask (PLA) To view the 3D PDF files, use Acrobat reader. Mounting the Mask: Attach (5) membrane-05mm to (3) flap01 with a thin elastic and secure it in place with (6) membrane-holder. Insert this assembled structure into the hole in the mask and fasten it on the inside using (7) screw02. Place (4) gasket on the outside of the mask. Next, insert (1) filter01-dust-sized cotton pad or other filter media and secure it to the mask. Finally, thread the elastic through the holes for mounting on the mask and adjust it to fit comfortably. Remember to use this mask responsibly and stay healthy!
