Covid 19 protection

Hello;\r\nTo support healthcare personnel during the Covid 19 pandemic, I've improved an existing face shield model to print quickly with a 3D printer without support and using only a simple pair of scissors that everyone has.\r\n\r\nSimply cut 1 cm wide x 3 cm high on both sides of the A4 PVC transparent sheet (desk top binding plate 200 or 300 micrometers thick). Then slide the sheet 4 (without landscape) into the slider and fold down the two ends that were previously cut.\r\n\r\nYou can also optionally attach the two tabs with a stapler or apply a blenderm type adhesive tape.\r\nIt's also possible to put an elastic behind the face shield for better retention.\r\n\r\nThe healthcare staff who after use, disinfect this type of face shield about 10 minutes in eucalyptus oil can easily reuse the A4 protective sheet and/or change it quickly when it is out of service. The face shield support can be disinfected at will.\r\n\r\nPrinting should be optimized: 250 microns, speed 120 mm/s, infill rate: 20%. No support, no Raft, Skirt or Brim.\r\nA4 PVC sheet, 200,250,300 Microns. The 300 micron sheets will be thicker and less fragile than the 200 or 250 micron sheets.\r\n\r\nIf you have a 3D printer, go ahead and print mass quantities of this type of face shield to give them to different COVID-19 cells in hospitals, clinics or EHPADs in your neighborhood.\r\nTake care of yourself.\r\nRobert BRUGUES
