Covid-19 Movable Booth

In our design, electrically powered motors attached to the booth are controlled by a joystick. The booth has a small size design such that a person can fit inside to operate it in a hospital ward with ease. Airtight cabin with filtered air inlet helped to maintain positive pressure and the ambient temperature inside to ensure the safety of the person. As it was a new concept, we faced a lot of difficulties while collecting components. Despite all the challenges, the disinfection system in the booth was so effective that many units have been made and deployed to hospitals in Kathmandu; they are serving well during the time of crisis.
