Some of my modifications to the excellent mask include: 1) A mask design featuring more holes for heavier filters. I found that the original's small surface area made it impossible to breathe through a vacuum cleaner bag filter, so an internal grid isn't necessary - the filter is securely locked between the cap and the mask. 2) A slim cap with matching holes, ideal for users with a slim layer filter, such as a vacuum bag. This design ensures a secure fit. 3) A deeper cap designed specifically for sponge-type filters, featuring a large opening to accommodate them. 4) A bayonet connector that I've tested successfully with commercial 3M filters. It connects seamlessly and is a valuable addition to the mask's functionality. 5) A cap with a bayonet connector, allowing users to incorporate industrial commercial filters without needing modifications. This makes the mask even more versatile and useful, as I've personally tested it with 3M P3 round filters. 6) A scaled-down version of the cap with a bayonet connector (90% of the original size), perfect for smaller faces while still maintaining the convenience of the bayonet design. 7) A small three-hole buckle to secure the mask in place, using 5mm wide elastic band, which can be easily sourced from most supermarkets. This simple yet effective addition ensures a comfortable and secure fit. The bayonet cap requires support during printing due to its complex design.
