COVID-19 MASK Ver.3

###UPDATE:### 2020.5.3: A smaller main body is added for kids (85mm) to make the design even better. I think this is my final mask design, and I'm confident that it's good enough for my family. This new design is based on my last one (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4312530), with a few key improvements. The belt loop and main body are now separate, making the main body much easier to print. ###What to Print### 1. Main Body (TPU) 2. Filter Connector (PETG) 3. Filter Cover (PETG) 4. Valve Body (PETG) 5. Valve Cover (PETG) 6. Head Band (TPU) 7. Belt Loop X2 (left & right) (TPU) ###What You Need Extra### 1. 3M valve membrane for 6500ql/6000 (https://amzn.to/3aTXyDv) 2. TOYOSAFTY RS2 filter (dim 74mm) 3. Two lunch/bento box belts ###About Filter### For this mask, I used one RS2 level filter made by TOYOSAFTY. The RS2 and DS2 filters are nearly identical to N95 masks, which meet the USA's safety standards. Both have a filtration rate of 95% or more. You can find more information at https://www.3mcompany.jp/3M/ja_JP/worker-health-safety-jp/safety-equipment/respiratory-protection-program/ and http://www.mask.co.jp/bouginmask01/bougin10.htm. ###About Valve Membrane### I used 3M's valve membrane, which is designed for the 6500ql/6000 mask. You'll need two of these membranes for this design, with one needing to be cut down to 18mm in size for the out-way valve. Alternatively, you can create your own valve membrane using a material of your choice. ####Designed in Sendai, Japan#### This 3D printable mask has not been approved by any regulatory agency and has not undergone laboratory testing. There is no guarantee that it will work properly, so use it at your own risk.
