COVID-19 Mask Strap Clips from and Straps from TPU
thingiverse
Welcome to 2020, where pandemics are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If you don't already have one, just wait patiently and it will be yours soon. As COVID-19 wreaks havoc worldwide, face mask shortages intensify and hoarders hoard even more. Meanwhile, elastic supplies dwindle to almost nothing, leaving people scrambling for alternatives. And let's not forget the toilet paper and paper towel shortages that have left many high and dry. With three Bowden 3D printers at my disposal, I had a spare roll of NinjaFlex (TPU) just begging to be used. I saw an opportunity in the midst of chaos and created a cinching device for 3D printed face masks. With only a few minutes of design work, it was ready to go. These devices print quickly, are small enough to fit in your pocket, may literally save your life, and can be downloaded for free under the Creative Commons - Attribution - Non-Commercial - Share Alike License. What more could you ask for?
