BREEEAAATHE ... because the MARK III is here! - 100% more filter area means 50% easier breathability, making it effortless to use different materials. This innovation also includes a seam between flexible and stiff parts for perfect alignment when gluing. The new design is also a bit lighter, but not much. It also looks nicer now. Hope this serves you well! Stay healthy! INTRODUCING: The MARK II A new slimmer and lighter version has arrived, reducing the weight on your face! This one does not have a detachable cap, but it's perfect if all you need is a cloth or slim filter between mask and grid. The mask consists of 3 parts instead of 4. I used color change to still have a color difference in the stiff part. If you want full flexibility, stick with the Mark I. Warning: This design does not guarantee 100% protection from any sort of virus, bacteria or other contaminants. It should only be used as a last resort when proper protective masks are not available. Anyway... I remixed the Mask from lafactoria3D to print with less flex material and therefore faster. Also slight changes to the cap - you can use the original cap and it will also fit. I connected the two main parts with superglue and sealed it from the inside. The flex material makes the mask sit tight. For now, I cut a surgical mask into 6 rectangular parts, allowing for way more usage than one surgical mask on its own. In a next step, I want to use HEPA vacuum cleaner bags, cut them to size and check how breathability is affected by different materials.
