I'm a bit behind schedule, but I wanted to share these designs in case they can assist people. In early April, some friends at a 3D printer fabrication shop approached me with a request to create an easy-to-produce face mask for healthcare workers and essential personnel. They were utilizing the La Factoria design, but the V1 took too long to print and was excessively heavy, while the V2 had numerous parts and potential failure points. They asked me to develop a more suitable option, which I've shared below. I provide no assurances regarding the safety or effectiveness of these masks, only that I attempted to make them as safe and effective as possible. As an engineer trying to contribute to the shortage of personal protective equipment, I'm offering these designs in good faith. Please use these at your own risk, and if actual protective gear is available, utilize it instead.
