The face shield's design ensures comfort during prolonged use, making it an ideal choice for doctors and nurses working in ICU sections with COVID-19 patients. Extensive redesigns were necessary to achieve this level of comfort, with the final iteration occurring after nearly eight revisions. The forehead section is made from EVA, while rubber provides a snug fit. A laser-cut front shield constructed from 0.5mm-thick polycarbonate sheet offers added protection. Printing with PLA material is possible, but it's recommended to use ABS for a smoother finish, achieved by treating the surface with acetone vapor. The printer's settings include a 0.6mm nozzle diameter and 0.3mm layer height, resulting in a strong and durable product.
