I brought together top-notch project components to create a comprehensive modular PLA printable face mask with an integrable and fully optional face shield, replacing any N95 equipment needs. This innovative design boasts a full face seal feature, offering serious airtight facial coverage while also being reusable and sanitizable. The actual filtration depends on the filter media used, but this open project is available for printing in decent quantity for family and friends. I appreciate existing options, but combining the best ideas from other projects resulted in a more complete solution that meets my needs: a reusable face mask offering serious airtight facial coverage, optional eye and full face shielding, valved intake/exhaust flow for media longevity, multiple layer options of non-standard use filter media, ability to withstand daily wear and tear usage, and ease of making and custom fitting. We shouldn't be purchasing PPE equipment that our healthcare workers need due to supply chain limitations, so it's essential to create our own.
