I crafted this solution to safeguard individuals within the healthcare setting, particularly in areas where resources are scarce. Its primary purpose is to be utilized with a recyclable 2L plastic bottle made of PETG, such as those used for Pepsi or Lemonade beverages. While designed specifically for PETG bottles, this concept could potentially be adapted for use with acetate materials; however, I have not conducted thorough testing in this regard. It's essential to note that this design has not undergone medical certification and is not a substitute for established protective measures against COVID-19. The printing process requires approximately 1.5 hours to complete.
