Door handles are among the most contaminated objects in hospitals, factories, homes, and especially retirement homes. As hospital construction experts from Switzerland, we sought a solution to this problem with numerous hygiene specialists. This solution had to meet the strict requirements for operating a hospital and our architectural aesthetic standards. We designed an elbow door opener that avoids contact with your hands. You will never touch your face with your elbow. You can print the design using any ordinary 3D printer. The openers come in diameters of 16, 18, 19, 20, and 22 mm. Let us know if you need a different size. The rounded design and hidden screw connection are perfectly hygienic and aesthetically pleasing. By using copper nano-composite antibacterial filament from COPPER3D, this handle should be self-cleaning in some way. It works best with rounded M5 screws and nuts. The length of the screws is M5 10-12mm. Use double-sided tape for better adhesion. You can easily measure your diameter with a gauge. Together we can help flatten the curve!
