COVID-19 Face Shield Strap Clips

<p>I designed these clips to attach to the Prusa face shield allowing me to use 1" (26 mm) webbing to create an adjustable head strap.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>These clips work fine printed in PLA. I'm sure PETG would work as well but I haven't tried that yet. You can use commercial webbing up to 1" (26 mm) but I would suggest using at least 3/4" (19 mm) for comfort.</p> <p>The clips twist on and should not fall off but can be removed as needed. I suspect hospitals will want to remove them and the webbing strap for cleaning.</p> <p>I created these for the DtM-v3.0 face shield (<a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/27748">https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/27748</a>) but it should work on any of the Prusa face shields that have the same connection on the sides.</p> <p>I've been using the stock 0.25mm Draft settings to print those on the Mini. You can fit up to 12 on the Mini print bed. Each one takes about 20 min but I'm pushing the speed up to about 170% on the Mini and it's working fine. 20% infill is working well. It's not like you're trying to lift a care with these.</p> <p>If anyone tries these on the Prusa face shields let us know if it works in the comments.</p> <p>Settings:<br/> Layer Height: 0.25 mm<br/> Perimeters: 2<br/> Top solid shell: 4<br/> Bottom solid shell: 4<br/> Infill: 20%<br/> Infill pattern: Grid<br/> Support: No</p> <p>Again those are just the stock settings for 0.25 Draft in Prusaslicer.</p>
