COVID-19 Face Shield - easy to print, for A4 binding sheet covers
thingiverse
This is my remix of <i>Maciej I</i> remix https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/26241-face-shield-a4-binding-sheet-easy-punching which is based on the Prusa Research RC3 shield project. Redesigned from scratch: - Optimized walls width for fast printing (about 1 hour per piece) with 0.3 mm layer height, 0.45 mm extrusion width and 2 shells without infill - Reduced height to 14.7 mm - Enables printing in stacks of 2, 4 and 8 pieces - Adds thin supports on the first layer, improving adhesion to the bed, easy to remove after printing with cutters - Redesigned hooks for A4 size transparent sheet of binding foil (at least 0.2 mm) prepared using an office hole puncher set to A6 size - The side hooks are a little higher up thanks to which the lower edge of the foil is more rounded and is closer to the face - Redesigned rubber hooks, easy to print, the possibility of using rubber tape or office rubbers STEP and Fusion360 files are available if someone wants to change something. Making faceshield is very simple. Use rubber protective gloves. Remove unnecessary items from printouts (first-layer supports, threads, blobs). Prepare A4 sheet (at least 0.2 mm) for binding according to the attached picture. Mount the foil sheet on the hooks. Cut the right section of rubber and mount on the hooks. That's all.
