Update: SCAD **AND** Document updated. 12/04/2020: v3.11: Made Dash Height parameter in Tweeks parameters. Suggested value: 2 for 0.4 nozzle and 1 for 0.6 or upper nozzle size. 07/04/2020: v3.10: Customizer variable rename, reorganization to help people use it. 06/04/2020: v3.9: Corrected hook brim and hook bridge placement to allow larger "sec" and nested arches on small plates. 05/04/2020: v3.8: Cut off 'brim' to avoid damaging elastic bands. Great improvement in hook quality (avoiding empty impressions). Added a small bridge between hooks for high towers stability. 05/04/2020: v3.6: Added a 'brim' to prevent hooks from detaching on old printers. # Before anything else - This protective face shield is a modest adaptation of the [Fablab ULB model](https://fablab-ulb.gitlab.io/projects/coronavirus/protective-face-shields/PFC-Headband-Light-3DPrint/tuto-fr/?fbclid=IwAR0pOz7Yt2icxUHslPyWrG_HsbM8hrQeuYjhbgAgBk34jXoWF0RQCJGeifk#solution-a-limprimante-3d). *All credit goes to the fantastic work of this team (as well as Prusa, which inspired this model).* - Although this arch may seem "light", I was unable to break this type of printed arch in PLA. - Its great advantage is that I can print 30 at once in 15 hours and the cost per complete shield is between $0.3 and $0.5. **The COMPLETE TUTORIAL** (https://www.notion.so/COVID-19-FabLab-ULB-Protective-Face-Shield-Am-liorations-Tutoriel-43002d838d63446796d9d5b09e25033f) can be found >> [HERE](https://www.notion.so/COVID-19-FabLab-ULB-Protective-Face-Shield-Am-liorations-Tutoriel-43002d838d63446796d9d5b09e25033f)<< By posting this object on Thingiverse, I desire: - To share my few modifications (sent to the author for evaluation). - Document the use of OpenSCAD so that everyone can adapt this model - To their printer - To their perforator!!! The small modifications I made to version 3.2 [of the Fablab ULB model](https://gitlab.com/fablab-ulb/projects/coronavirus/protective-face-shields/-/tree/master/PFC-Headband-Light-3DPrint) are: - v3.3: "hook fence" parameter to tighten hooks and prevent small elastic bands from falling (users will have gloves, so it should not be cumbersome to handle). - v3.3: Corrected the "dot" at the arch junction when printing multiple arches that made separation difficult. - v3.5: Parameter allowing the generation of hexagonal holes to be disabled and facilitate disinfection (suggested by [JahBee](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4241047)). - v3.6: Added a 'brim' to prevent hooks from detaching on old printers.
