The filter that fits this mask is a 3M F2 Dirt Devil HEPA Filter, certified to filter particulate down to .3 micron. This meets the same filtering requirements as N95, P95, and R95 masks recommended for protecting people from viruses like COVID-19. Although I am confident in this design, I do not claim any guarantees for its protective ability, and use of this mask is at your own risk. As an artist who freelances doing industrial design, I am not an expert in medical equipment.
