I did another file, dubbed "ear save," as my initial design utterly failed to meet my expectations. This new iteration is a perfect fit for me, printing at lightning speed on a 150mm x 150mm build plate with six pieces per batch, completing in just twenty minutes with a nozzle size of 0.8 and layer height set to 0.5. This design also happens to be a remix of someone else's work, which I tweaked by moving one of the hooks closer to the center. When attaching it to your neck, you'll need a shorter clip, and the overall product is both smaller and stronger. I've since created another design called "Surgical mask ear strain relief," which boasts improved adhesion to the build plate and prints better than its predecessor. It also feels more substantial and remains universally applicable. Although it consumes an additional 10cm of filament, I firmly believe it's worth the extra material. Lastly, I added a file dubbed "DOTS" at someone's request, featuring subtle grooves that prevent the clip from sliding down. To top it off, I've included two Cura profiles: one for a nozzle size of 0.4 and another for a nozzle size of 0.8. These profiles enable you to print a single clip in as little as three minutes.
