COVID-19 Ear Saver I Love You I Know
thingiverse
This is a remix of Thing# 4248986. I edited it to cut out the middle and add some 3D text.\r\n\r\nPrints intentionally thin, to be flexible. You really should try printing this in PETG so it bends rather than breaks like PLA.\r\n\r\nMeant to be used with COVID-19 masks featuring bands or strings. It goes on the back of your head, and you hook the strings/bands to it, preventing them from pulling too hard on your ears.\r\n\r\nPrint Settings\r\nPrinter:\r\nSOVOL SV-01\r\n\r\nRafts:\r\nNo raft\r\n\r\nSupports:\r\nNone needed\r\n\r\nResolution:\r\n0.2mm\r\n\r\nInfill:\r\nZero percent\r\n\r\nNotes:\r\nWhen printing PETG, print it at a slow speed (30mm/s), ensure proper Flow settings for your printer and filament, avoiding too thin or stringy layers. Also, set the nozzle temperature to 240 degrees Celsius and the bed temperature to 70 degrees Celsius. I prefer printing on the shiny surface of my tempered glass bed from SOVOL by flipping it over and applying Aquanet hair spray. This eliminates bed adhesion issues entirely. If you're using zero percent infill, provide enough walls to fill it solidly, considering its relatively small height of about 1.5mm.
