COVID-19 DOOR PULL, BUTTON PRESS, HANDRAIL WIPE

thingiverse

As COVID-19 refuses to disappear, I sought a way to continue opening doors, pressing buttons, and performing other tasks without touching anything with my hands. I also wanted a tissue/wipe attached to the design so I could maintain a barrier between myself and door handles, while still being able to clean handrails effectively. So, I came up with this solution. It can be produced using either laser cutting or 3D printing methods. A DXF file for laser cutting is included in the provided files. The 5mm part is sturdy enough when printed with recommended settings and materials, featuring some flexibility that is perfectly fine. I've also included a 10mm thick version for those who prefer a thicker design. I hope this creation proves useful to you. To get the best results, I recommend printing it with PETG, ABS, or Polycarbonate materials. For optimal printing settings, use at least five perimeters, five top and bottom layers, and a minimum of 20% infill density.
