This part makes assembling a Gpeng full face snorkel mask with a ProTeam vacuum HEPA filter possible, rated to 1/2 micron. This provides a complete face solution that may offer protection against viruses and other particulates, like dust, smoke, etc. We are not claiming this will completely filter covid, coronavirus or covid-19 at the moment, but it might help since it uses a sealed system that protects your eyes, nose and mouth with a HEPA grade filter, which is used in a typical vacuum system. Slide the snorkel side onto the mask until it stops and is snugged down on the seal. The part takes 3 hours and 30 minutes to print on a Prusa i3 MK3. No support material required. This configuration is not designed to filter exhaled breath, but should effectively filter 99%+ of inbound particulates and organic matter, down to 1 micron in size.
