Here's a summary of the document: **Background** The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a shortage of medical supplies, including masks for healthcare workers. A group of makers, entrepreneurs, students, teachers, and citizens in Popayán, Colombia have come together to design and manufacture "Contingency Accessories" for protection against splashes of patients with COVID-19 or suspected virus. **Design and Assembly** The design consists of a 3D printed frame made of acetate sheet (#8 or #10 gauge) that can be disinfected. The assembly process involves printing the 3D design, cutting the acetate sheet to size, assembling the sheet with the 3D printing frame, and adding a rubber or spring to fit the user's head. **Disinfection Methods** The disinfection methods used for health personnel include VIRKON ™ S Virucidal Disinfectant and KLORKLEEN disinfectant. For manufacturers (MAKERS), the following disinfection methods have been used: mix of CHLORINE and water in 1/10 ratio, white vinegar, and water and soap. **Materials Used** The materials used for assembly include: * Covid-19 Anti-Splash Hatch * 30x26cm Acetate Sheet (#8 or #10 gauge) * Spring or rubber (preferably a rubber that can be disinfected) **Assembly Steps** 1. Print the 3D design Covid-19 Face splash mask. 2. Cut an acetate sheet of 30x26 cm, recommended to be #8 or #10 gauge. 3. Assemble the acetate sheet with the 3D printing frame, make a small hole with a scalpel to the acetate in the blocks that will hold it. 4. Enter and adjust the rubber or spring to the measure of the head of the person who is going to use this element. **3D Printing Settings** * Layer height: 0.26 * Filling: 20% * Material: 16 grams * Print time: 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes depending on settings and printer used. * Print speed: 80-110 mm/s. **Acknowledgments** The makers who contributed to the manufacturing processes of these masks to be donated in Popayán are: * Darwin Manchola (SIS Popayán) * Javier Adolfo Castillo (Celeste Team SAS) * Jeison Sneider Ruiz Zemanate (Eureka!
