I modified the design to heighten the contrast between the virus and its surroundings by toning down the lower sections and boosting the top-left quadrant's visibility. For my own eyes, I tweaked the color scheme so that layer 17 shifts towards a crisp white and layer 23 transitions smoothly into a vibrant green.
