Covered wagon, 1:32 scale The platform measures 230mm long and 262mm between the buffers. Axle holders are designed to fit 3mm shafts, making LGB's wheels and equivalents a perfect match for these carriers. I've added standard coupler attachments like LGB and equivalents to these platforms. With minimal experience in moving axles, I've been testing this setup throughout winter and it seems to work effectively. However, you'll need something that keeps the wheels roughly parallel to the tracks. In an attempt to address this, I've tried a variant with a holder in the middle and straps made of plastic (similar to those used for wrapping post packets). So far, it's worked well. The holder features two holes of varying widths to accommodate any screw you may have available at home. First, ensure that the shaft fits neatly into the hole from the side. To confirm smooth rolling, check if the shaft glides effortlessly. If not, slightly enlarge the hole until it does. For the wheel axle, I've used polished 3mm round steel, while the fixing screw for the wheel holder measures about 3 to 4mm. The small black square on the left long side is a destination container; feel free to use it if you wish or omit it altogether. It can be glued to the carriage as shown in the provided photo.
