Printed with clear filament using a 1.0mm nozzle in vase mode, this setup yields a rigid yet transparent cover that allows users to monitor remaining filament levels. The cover boasts two flat areas: one on the bottom accommodates a desiccant bag, while the other on the side facilitates mounting of a Bowden tube coupler. The <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2538229">coupler</a> functions well in this setup, enabling users to monitor filament levels effectively. The backing plate allows for secure sandwiching of the spool cover between the coupler and itself. Users will need to drill holes in the cover; these are likely M3 screws. The outer cover slides smoothly over the base cover.
