To enhance accessibility, create a custom power supply unit cover that simplifies adjustments when printer dimensions vary. A 5mm LED light in any desired color can be added for visual appeal. The LED can be detached from the power supply unit and connected directly to wires on the front panel using a soldering iron, or simply plugged into the receptacle with a 12-volt connection while observing polarity. To prevent overloading, ensure a resistor is attached in series to the LED; use an online calculator to determine the required resistance value based on the desired current flow for your specific LED. No drilling is necessary as all screws fit perfectly into existing holes in the power supply unit's casing using M3x6 screws, along with two additional screws and nuts (M4 or M3) for securing a network receptacle.
