This protective cover shields the loop attachment bayonets on the Golem Gear Shrimp BOV when not attached to the loop, safeguarding them from potential damage. Its ring stretches out the same distance inside the bayonet as the original hose adapters do, making it a dual-purpose tool that also helps press in one-way-valve carriers. To accomplish this, place the cover on a flat surface near an edge and slide the one-way-valve carrier into the BOV until the O-ring sits flush. Then, put it over the cover while keeping the low-pressure hose/regulator adjustment knob away from the table (refer to the picture). Finally, firmly press straight down on the BOV body, gently pushing the carrier and O-ring into the opening.
