Cover/keyguard for Logitech K120 keyboard (Aid for Parkinson patients)

I'm a sysadmin in the healthcare sector, working with clients who require special assistance. One of my clients is paralyzed 70% and suffers from Parkinson's disease. Despite his physical limitations, he remains passionate about computers and writing. However, using a standard keyboard proves challenging for him due to uncontrollable hand shaking. To address this issue, I designed a custom cover for the Logitech K120 keyboard that provides guidance and support for his fingers as they type. This innovative solution enables him to use the computer with ease, producing written content like never before. The cover consists of four separate pieces that can be printed using any hobby-sized 3D printer (180 x 180 bed). To ensure a secure fit, I recommend printing with a brim (15mm) and gluing the parts together. Color-coding is strategically used on the cover to facilitate navigation. White keys represent basic keyboard functions, yellow keys indicate "function" keys (such as DELL, INSERT, and HOME), and black keys correspond to numerical inputs. This color scheme proves particularly beneficial for individuals with compromised eyesight. The design process took four months, during which I meticulously measured and tested every aspect of the cover to ensure optimal functionality. The current version is V7, and it has been extensively validated through collaboration with the patient. Given the affordability and global availability of the Logitech K120 keyboard, I hope this solution will benefit other Parkinson's patients worldwide.
