Cover for silica container in dry box

I used the drybox design from Ondřej Stříteský and mounted them on my lack enclosure with magnetic strips. There comes a container for silica gel with this dryboxes. When lifting the lack cover the silica gel scatters around. I wanted to have a cover for this container to prevent the silica gel from scattering all around the drybox. I designed a cover with a handle which is clipped on the original handle of the silica container. A ring is placed inside the container before filling with silica gel to keep the handle area free from any silica gel. The cover don’t interact with any filament spool, since the cover is around 7 mm lower then the top of the container.

Building instruction

Parts:
If not already available silica gel (I used this: ST-Trockenperlen)

3D printed parts for one set:
1 x Silica_Container_Cover
1 x Ring

The assembly contains also the original silica container from Ondřej Stříteský

Construction:
Print out the ring and the cover.
