Cover for Raspberry Pi 3
thingiverse
I designed this specifically for a brand new Raspberry Pi 3, upgrading my Octoprint server in the process. However, it should also work seamlessly with a Pi 2 and a Pi B+. The case boasts an enlarged cutout for the microSD card slot, which is not spring-loaded on the Pi 3. On the upgraded Pi 3, Octoprint runs much more responsively, but I'm unsure how much of this improvement comes from the faster Pi or the updated OctoPi image that no longer features a GUI. The case prints vertically in one piece without support and requires slight bending to fit over the Raspberry Pi. I used Atomic Filament's Translucent Neon Green PLA and eSun Peak Green PLA for this project.
