Cover for Park Tool CCP-22 or CCP-44 crank puller
thingiverse
In the world of niche products, this is truly exceptional. It's hard to envision many people having a need for something as specialized as this. I've got two Park crank pullers in my collection, and one of them resides in the toolbox that I keep in my vehicle at all times. The thing is, I take great care to keep tool threads spotless and well lubricated, but sitting in a toolbox like this might compromise cleanliness, so I decided to craft a cover to preserve its pristine condition when it's not in use. Remade from a Nut Job M22x1 25mm long nut - I then stripped away the surfaces for the wrench flats and extended the circular end, and fashioned a cap on one end. The actual thread size is 22.5mm as the 22mm was too constrictive and 23mm came loose immediately. It's possible that 22.3mm would have provided an even better fit, but it's not bad enough to warrant a reprint.
