Cover for Lelit Fred
thingiverse
What is it?The stainless-steel body of the Lelit Fred coffee grinder leaves the adjustment ring exposed. This plastic-part has a rough finish, and it is quite unsightly. Also, it is a magnet for dust. This print fits underneath the bean hopper, hiding the adjustment ring completely from sight. Added bonus: it reduces a bit the high-frequency components of the grinding noise. How to print?Upside-down. Make sure the first layer comes out nicely, as that'll be the most visible one. No supports needed. How to install?Remove the bean hopper (unscrewing the screw inside it, rocking the hopper gently from side to side).Remove the adjustment knob by pulling it to the side.PATIENTLY fit the printed cover over the adjustment shaft and over the discharge port. It takes a while (and some force), but it fits.Reinstall knob and bean hopper.
