My workplace is five kilometers away and this distance makes an e-bike the perfect transportation choice. Unfortunately, there's no secure parking spot under a roof where I can store my bike when it's not in use. To protect the battery from the elements during the day, I leave it on the bike - but as soon as winter sets in, I'll take it inside the office to keep it safe. I also built a protective case for the bike's contacts so they won't be exposed to the weather for 9 hours each day.
