I swapped out my CR-10's extruder with a shiny new aluminum one, giving it a much-needed upgrade. I also upgraded my Bowden tube to a high-quality Capricorn model and installed the matching Capricorn fittings, making sure everything was securely in place. However, this left me with a problem - my cover and filament guide no longer fit properly. To fix this issue, I designed a new cover using Tinkercad, adding more space around the release lever to accommodate the larger Capricorn fitting. This modification ensured that the release lever had plenty of room to operate freely, preventing the filament from slipping in the extruder. Now, my 3D printer is running smoothly and efficiently, thanks to these thoughtful upgrades.
