Cover for Adapter with a 2.1mm DC plug
thingiverse
DC plugs are very useful, but they need to be covered. Why this isn't already a part of their design is something that puzzles me.Just insert the cables and push the printed thing onto the green thing and you should be good to go. I've included two variants, one with a tighter fit and one with a looser fit. The fit applies to the cable, if your printer struggles with tolerances, just increase the size +1% and it should fit. On my Creality K1 it fit perfectly right away.Print settings. Print it oriented as designed. Use normal support, but only from the buildplate. The only bit that needs support is the protruding bit. The interior should be fine to print as overhang.
