It's essential that this model is printed at a 0.2mm layer height for optimal results, as anything less might not print properly. I drew inspiration from Daniel Noree's Furry Vase: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/the-furry-vase-24330 when creating this hairy object using my 3D printer. The hat in the pictures is a Bowler hat from DigitalMeetsWorld on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:547804, but you can easily substitute it with any other hat that suits your taste. The hair is securely attached to a sacrificial wall that gets removed afterwards, as seen in the post_processing.jpg image - although this picture is of a lion, the process remains the same. You might also consider trying hot water to form the hair; just be cautious not to burn yourself. This model was printed using ABS, but it should work equally well with other materials. If you encounter any issues, simply adjust your bridging settings in the slicer to resolve the problem.
