Designed in order to couple the shafts on Savvansnyc's film scanner may not be necessary but will ensure that advancing the film only requires the rotation of a single shaft. 4 are required placed as seen and the same on the other side Due to their size in order to get usable results i would imagine an sla printer is required. In order to get the gears to mesh correctly any "elephants foot" from the build plate must be removed, I recommend doing this with a small flat file after washing and <b> before </b> UV curing. The inside of the gear should also be filed slightly for the same reason in order to push it onto the shaft without cracking it, for this reason i recommend printing more than 4 as they use a tiny amount of resin and it will have no affect on print time. The gears may bind slightly depending on how well they were cleaned up, simply using them and allowing them to wear together will fix this. I have included two sets of gears, the larger one of which i used as i sanded out the holes a bit too much in the original model. any questions, problems, or comments please let me know
