This coupler was created to replace a damaged Z-Axis one, fitting a NEMA 17 stepper motor shaft through its 5mm hole and an ACME threaded rod via the 1/4 inch opening. Version 1.1 includes improvements like a central notch for enhanced clamp flexibility, M3 hex nut cutouts for easier tightening, and a dimple on the 5mm hole for stepper shafts with flattened ends (couplerV1-1_forRoundShaft.stl is for non-flattened). A time-lapse of its 3D printing process can be found on YouTube, while assembly requires 4x12mm M3 Hex screws and nuts. Print settings are a layer height of 0.1mm, 30% fill, 1mm wall thickness, and a 20mm brim.
