This abstract sculpture showcases an enigmatic couple sitting together in complete silence. Lynn Chadwick, the visionary sculptor, launched his career as a skilled architectural draughtsman but after World War II he made a bold switch to sculpture. Couple on Seat is one of his later masterpieces. He produced numerous works featuring figures in diverse positions, building upon the legacy of renowned sculptor Henry Moore.
