Counting Coin Trays

Counting Coin Trays

thingiverse

This brief project showcases a series of coin trays, starting with a simple design that didn't print well, moving on to a straight tray for one roll of coins, and finally an offset version. Each design is included in the provided scad file, which features a parametric cointray() module that can be customized for various coin sizes, coin counts, or printing tolerances. Three STL files are available for 2€, 1€, and 0.50€ coins, respectively, all tailored to the maker's Thingomatic Mk6 printer specifications. For those using non-Euro currencies, the scad can be edited with custom coin measurements to generate STL files. The trays are easy to load and unload, making them useful for anyone counting small amounts of change. However, due to size limitations, all designs cannot be printed on a single tray. To use these trays, simply print the provided STL files or modify the scad to suit your specific coin types.
