Quick update: I've just uploaded a couple of images showcasing the finished printed parts. So far, everything's been working great - with one exception: the bottom has some issues with layer separation :-(- It turns out I've never printed anything this massive using ABS before. Time to break out some blankets for my printer or stock up on more PLA! ============================= Countertop Challenge Winner: Countertop Tea Chest The Countertop Tea Chest offers a unique and functional place to store your favorite teas. This stylish tea chest boasts an open section on one side specifically designed for storing tea bags, alongside two internal compartments perfect for holding loose tea or sugar cubes. Or simply use it as is - the tea chest accommodates both K-Cup and pod storage seamlessly! To top it off, a pair of tongs cleverly fits into the lid for effortless serving. I've incorporated an oversized hinge on the lid to ensure maximum durability. Plus, this clever mechanism relies on a sturdy 1.75mm printer filament hinge pin. Furthermore, the Countertop Tea Chest proudly features a one-of-a-kind flip latch design on the front, securely held in place with yet another piece of durable 1.75mm printer filament. Rest assured, I'll share some stunning photos of my completed print soon! Assembly Instructions Printing tips: for a seamless experience, consider using PLA alongside ABS - both materials work fantastically well. Don't forget to explore the included STL files, already expertly aligned for ideal printing results. Remember, breakaway supports are required for these parts - although I've minimized them as much as possible. Take a look at my images for clear step-by-step guidance during assembly. That's it - happy crafting!
