Fill the gradient measuring cup with liquid to the required level until you completely cover the number of ounces you want to weigh, and then balance the scale in place. This process is incredibly easy, yet very convenient! It can make weighing out food weights a more enjoyable experience for anyone involved. The device's operation is extremely simple and quite accurate. Begin by positioning the beam assembly on the fulcrum of the base piece. You can slide the beam along the fulcrum to achieve a balanced state. This technique allows you to place a tupperware or dish on the opposite side of the measuring cup while using this scale, as long as you keep sliding the beam assembly until it's balanced. The beam will be flush with the top of the base piece when you're in balance. In the measuring cup, add water until the number you wish is completely covered. This represents the amount of weight, in ounces, that needs to be counterbalanced on the other side. That's it! The process is very straightforward and efficient. Important instructions: Make sure to print the measuring cup with a solid base; the remainder can be no more than 30%. Alternatively, you can fill the gaps at the bottom of the cup with acetone, ensuring that liquids don't leak out. You have two options for the beam: you can either print it or purchase one made from wood from a home improvement store.
